Sacred Ground Sticky Floors: Best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER

Sacred Ground Sticky Floors: Best Chocolate Chip Cookies EVER

Yield 24 cookies

This recipe is tried and true. It may be the simplest, yet best cookie on the planet. A kid’s favorite. Doesn’t every good childhood memory involve a warm chocolate chip cookie

Ingredients

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

2 sticks of butter softened

3/4 cup light brown sugar

3/4 cup sugar

2 tsp vanilla extract

2 large eggs

12 ounce bag of chocolate chips

Instructions

Preheat oven to 375

Cream together butter, sugars, baking soda, and salt.  Add eggs and vanilla.  Slowly beat in flour.  Fold in chocolate chips. Once blended use an ice cream scoop to drop dollops of cookie dough onto greased cookie sheet.  I prefer to use parchment paper.  Cook 7-9 minutes!

(But here is my chocolate chip cookie recipe.) […]
